We've only seen him in 1 fight - but he failed somewhat in that fight. I don't necessarily have much faith in wow players, male or female - so I generally just think the average wow player is trash so your sex has no concern to me.

However, you being mute could be somewhat of an issue. While I don't expect people to talk all the time on vent during raids (some talk more then others) - the ability to talk is something we take for granted. However, if you were prepared ahead of time with macros such as DROPPING BLOCK AT HEAD or DROPPING BLOCK AT TAIL for sindragosa 10 for example, it'd be less of an issue probably.

I suppose you won't be a vent whore at least because you're mute (your deviantart display would basically make me think no to your app if you could actually talk). That could easily be misconstrued as being insensitive to your disability, but we also don't follow the equal employment act either.

That said, I wouldn't base your app on the comments of a warrior that doesn't even know how to properly set up/itemize his gear and thinks that threat > armor and that parry gems are ever good even with the diminishing returns association with dodge or that 22agi > more armor. Obviously, he doesn't know anything himself.

Could you be a longterm member? I have no idea - that's up to your raid performance. Could you do worse then Aahhoo did last night in ICC 10? Possibly. The same results would have occurred, though. It's hard to think of what he could have done worse other then death gripping sindragosa or something.

How comfortable are you in other dk specs? Are you only comfortable and capable of playing unholy? Something about dk's that has been pervasive since they came out is that what spec is best for a given encounter changes constantly.

Also, how are you at tanking? You wrote tanking newbie - but what does that mean? Are you aware enough to taunt/grip things off healers? Do you find yourself rune locked with d&d down at the wrong times (aka, putting d&d down prematurely when aoe might be coming 8seconds from now and you won't have threat on all the mobs due to cd's, etc?)

Lots of questions - hopefully you have answers. I don't know zanrok, but apparently some people do and were saying stuff about him last night, so I doubt any kind of info he gives will even be considered. I'd be willing to take the plunge and tank or heal a 5 man with you in it and some pugs to see how you do. Actually, we could get some shitty alts in the guild and go do halls and see if you're capable of carrying afk terrible geared alts who do stupid things.

"Bringing the deeps" is only part of the role, and if Zanrok is criticizing your situational awareness... Concern is not a strong enough word.

If you mashed the macro harder, would it make up the extra .5k dps?

Im gonna try and stick it out with my guild, and if things dont improve, and you guys still need a dk, i'll come in, but i feel like with all the gear i have gotten i'd be betraying them in a way

oh and tanking, i use my old DPS weapon, Bryntoll or however its spelled, and it pulls rediculous threat, even in unholy, but i want to go blood for tanking tho
