Guild Charter

Huge in Japan (HiJ in its short form) is a rename of Force of Nature, a guild that emerged on May 1st 2007 on Kil’Jaeden. It was the result of a merger between Premonition and Vicious Cycle with the intent on focusing on PVE raiding and PVPing together for fun.

The guild is currently being lead by a council of officers: Finer (GM), Zlanis, Jilli

Ranks
Officer: These people run the guild, recruit, lead the raids and scream at you when you screw up.

Member: Members constitute the core raiders in the guild.

Friends: Friends are members that are with us because they are related to current members or are members that have been demoted because of lack of activity.

Recruits: These are trial members. Recruits will normally be promoted when officers are convinced they are a match for HiJ.

Members and Friends are allowed to bring alts to the guild as long as they are active alts. We strongly encourage you to add your alts to the guild roster to keep a strong community.

To reach membership (both for recruits and friends) you need to have 3 things: the best gear attainable for our current PVE level, be VERY active and have ‘skill’ which can translate to clicking cubes, running away from fire, moving from the big eye beam, jumping off a ramp or maximizing your DPS through an effective spell rotation. Additionally space needs to be available for that class.

Loot
HiJ is not a DKP guild. We divide loot by means of a loot council comprised of the guild officers. We take into consideration various factors such as:

• Raid attendance
• Previous Loot.
• Current Gear.
• How hard you try to excel in your class bracket and how you perform in raids.

Loot is generally decided between two or more officers (at least ideally it should be). Class leaders might be asked for their opinion as well in the absence of two officers.

Guild Rules
About Shittyness: We, the officers, are not babysitters and as such will not tolerate shittyness or crappy attitudes. We expect people to behave, have fun and generally be ‘adults’.

About being annoying: Animosity between guild members and other members of the KJ community is strongly frowned upon. Having healthy fun with people you know is fine. We are not going to be policing you around but if it becomes a problem, you will be warned(and perhaps demoted to Janitor), and if it continues, you will be removed from the guild.

About Drama: If you have an issue with any other member or officer you are expected to solve it in tells and NOT in gchat/class channels otherwise expect to demoted to janitor. We encourage you to solve problems by yourself. Involve officers only if one to one interaction does not work out. WE WILL NOT TAKE COMPLAINTS FROM THIRD PARTIES.

About AFKing: When raiding, please let an officer know or announce in your class channel+Raid if you are going afk, failure to do so might result in a kick. Additionally, people are expected to be on their mains and on vent @ raid time.

About raid spots: Members generally have priority for raid spots for progression and ‘end game’ instances over Friends and Recruits. Friends have equal opportunity for 10 mans and ‘easy’ 25 mans. Recruits and applicants will be invited at the discretion of Officers.

Raiding times
We are a PST raiding guild. During progression you should expect to raid 6pm - 12am from Sunday through Thursday. Once things are on farm our schedule relaxes to about a 1-3 day schedule. 10 mans and alt 25 mans are normally run during the weekend.

Cliffnotes
Use some common sense, don’t be bad, excel and you’ll do fine.
