Only 140sp? Are you ignoring the 7% crit he's got on you as well? As well as actually being at hit cap?

Along with that, (if) you end up coming in, you'll be trying to fill the shoes of probably the best pve-skilled warlock on the server, and one that's placed highly on worldwide rankings for dps on multiple fights. One that I can't remember ever screwing up on any fight as far as execution of the strat, and yet still never seemed to pull agro or do anything other than rape the damage meters. Big shoes to fill is the understatement of the year.

Yes only 140 sp, and 7% crit isn't even important warlocks get over 24% crit chance PASSIVE in raids from other players buffs + my gear crit, thats why crit isn't even that important. Switching from affliction to demonology does makes me loose 3% supression hit talents, but i can always drop 2 from my pets crit and make up with throwing some hit gems for begining.

This is one of the demo guides 3.3 i was looking at which is right imo:

Crit: This stat causes a ton of confusion. First off you need to realize that when you spec Demonic Tactics 5/5 you get a flat +10% chance to crit increase on your nukes. You are also probably getting +5% from a Boomkin buff. +3% from a ret Pally debuff or a Shaman debuff (they dont stack). And lastly, you are providing a +5% Crit debuff with ISB (Improved Shadow Bolt). Add that up and it's a +23% to crit from talents and buffs/debuffs in a 25 man raid group plus whatever crit you have on your gear. This is why Crit is not valued as high. You get a ton of it passively.
